  1. What crap, I know someone with Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome, and cannabis is
the only thing that keeps it under control.

If you want to puke, go down to the pub and drink a shed load of legal
alcohol … the idiots who made this nonsense should be ashamed of
    themselves.

  7. THUMBS UP FOR REAL DRUG EDUCATION Ive had this condition for almost a year
now. It’s FUCKING HELL in the morning when you wake up since you’ve been
asleep and you haven’t smoked for 8 hours. I used to throw up EVERY SINGLE
MORNING and since ive started smoking less it has gotten much better,
however I still experience intense waves of nausea throughout the day. The
only thing that relieves the symptoms is smoking more weed. Hot showers
also work but when you turn off the water it comes back

  8. I unfortunately have this problem and had to stop. I was hospitalized three
times for it. The first time I was so dehydrated that I only had 10% of my
kidney function. I never quite connected the dots until the third trip to
    the emergency room.

  14. Stop smoking COLD TURKEY for a week. If you’re still feeling symptoms (even
the slightest nausea) give it another week. Ginger pills and hot showers to
combat the nausea in the meantime. Lowering your usage alone wont help; you
must COMPLETELY STOP smoking so your body can start producing it’s own
endocannabinoids again, AND THEN you gotta lower your usage when you start
smoking again. Give your head a shake and be grateful its just weed; I hear
heroin & crack withdrawal aren’t quite as fun

  16. We constructed a case series, the largest to date, of patients diagnosed
with CH at our institution. All 98 patients were younger than 50 years of
age. Among the 37 patients in whom duration of cannabis use was available,
most (25 [68%]) reported using cannabis for more than 2 years before
symptom onset, and 71 of 75 patients (95%) in whom frequency of use was
available used cannabis more than once weekly.

  17. I really would like to beleive so, but it isn’t ;( Learned first-hand.
What’s baffling is why this is occuring so suddenly, and there is no
    detailed info on it!

  19. It actually is deadly. I’ve been thrown into renal kidney failure and was
told by the doctors I would die. They ran a tube down my neck and into my
kidney and did dialysis on me. Throwing up for weeks on end can kill
anyone. IV’s have saved my ass many times. I have been suffering since the
    early nineties.

  20. issues in the brain are exposed with cannabis not caused by it….
something is wrong and it’s not because of the marijuana.

  21. just because you dont have this problem doesnt mean it isnt true. i love
smoking weed. ive smoked for 4 years. before i stopped, i was puking every
morning (violently) for about 2 months. i stopped smoking, and so did the
puking. i feel great now. even though i miss it, it had to be done. so
honestly, fuck you for being an ignorant bitch who has no idea what hes
    talking about.

  22. A few of my friends have this condition. You get it from smoking weed all
day every day for an extended period of time. I used to smoke 0.5-1 gram a
day and never had a problem. When I started smoking around 3.5g every day
It took about 6 months to develop symptoms, and another month to figure out
where it was coming from. All I needed was 1 bowl in the morning and I
would be 100% fine for the rest of the day, however I was still prone to
vomiting. Any physical exercise would make me barf

  23. Eighty-four patients (86%) reported abdominal pain. The effect of hot water
bathing was documented in 57 patients (58%), and 52 (91%) of these patients
reported relief of symptoms with hot showers or baths. Follow-up was
available in only 10 patients (10%). Of those 10, 7 (70%) stopped using
cannabis and 6 of these 7 (86%) noted complete resolution of their
    symptoms.

  25. I also had this in late 2011 and early 2012. I went through a weeks worth
of testing- literally the entire myriad of available tests to see what’s
going on inside your intestines without cutting you open and they found
nothing. I finally went to a gastroenterologist who told me about this
syndrome. He said due to lack of research there was no way he could
actually diagnose it but that I should stop smoking just to see what
happens. Sure enough, after 5 months of abstaining it has yet to relapse
