  1. We need to be locked into an alcohol model, before this guy already starts
rolling back our new rights, again….

That is, we need to be locked into a microbrew style model. Let’s keep
    marlboro out.

And what the fuck is he talking about, “black market”….. you can have
your friends pot, just like your friend’s beer, it’s LEGAL there.

  6. This guest is out of touch, even if he knows a few factoids that Sam
doesn’t. Sam is quick to call out soft journalism in the mainstream news
and needs to hald himself to the standard that he holds other journalists
    to.

  10. it was easier to get weed than bee. you need a large amount of beer to get
drunk at a party but you can get a lot of people high at a party with very
    little

  11. Mark Kleiman is (mostly) right, the sensible solution lies somewhere
between beatleapostle’s mistaking of prohibitions with regulations and lack
of respect for marijuana’s (relatively minor) harms, and the mindless
proselytizing of michael hall’s inane prohibitionist statement below.
There’s a happy middle here, and nobody will get to the best solution by
screaming “marijuana’s perfect” or “marijuana’s evil” with their ears
    plugged and their eyes shut.

  13. (I’m asking because I don’t know…) Should the gov’t go out of its way to
try to prevent bad habits from forming among the populace?

  14. Keep the price high? Add more prohibitions? I don’t understand why Sam was
treating this moron with such undue respect.
